 The Attitude of the Flower
We are told that there is a time to reap and a time to sow. A time to live and a time to die. Reaping and sowing are a part of living and we can do so much to postpone the dying.
It is between you and God
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.
Just wanted to encourage you
He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed. It faced a blank wall. The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window.
Failure is not to be feared
Respect failure for who it is, but do not stay there. Draw from it what you will and then never repeat it if you can. Say, "I will learn from you, but I will not lay down in defeat". I will press on in the spirit of constancy.
Growing up is optional
"There is a huge difference between growing older and growing up. If you are nineteen years old and lie in bed for one full year and don't do one productive thing, you will turn twenty years old".
Moving Thoughts
Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift.
Self-value is an important virtue
Many people have allowed others to define to them their value or worth. That is why a person may condemn themself if, for instance, he or she fails to qualify for a job, gain admission to a particular institution, or fails a particular test.
